The school has now been closed.
Our School was one of 33 Steiner Waldorf schools throughout the UK and Ireland, a proven alternative to mainstream education. It was also one of only a few Steiner Waldorf schools in the country to take pupils from pre-school right through to university entrance. This means that at Kings Langley, a child could enjoy a happy and secure education, free from the need to change schools. Founded in 1949, our School was set in 10 acres of attractive grounds on the site of a 13th century palace and priory. The School had a capacity of 440 pupils divided between the four Kindergartens, the Lower School and the Upper School. The School was popular and successful, and there were waiting lists for some age groups. Like all Steiner Waldorf schools, our School was co-educational and fully comprehensive, welcoming boys and girls from all backgrounds, cultures and creeds. Thank you to all those who contributed over the years.
