Where to find information and how to get involved
On 26th July the School received notice from the Department for Education of the Secretary of State’s decision to de-register the School from the Register of Independent Schools, subject to appeal. This notice was a result of the findings of Ofsted’s May 2017 Inspection.
After almost seventy years of providing a unique and inspiring education to countless children, the School is facing closure. The School is appealing the deregistration and the community is now coming together in a positive and dedicated campaign to save our school.

The School will continue to operate while the appeal is ongoing, and the School Term will start on 5th September as scheduled. Parents with concerns about school contingency plans should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Despite the very real problems which have to be put right, the School provides a strong Waldorf education to its children and this must be supported and sustained.
The School has new leadership in a renewed Council of Trustees and a new Headteacher. The new leadership is putting into action a clear and robust strategy for the coming weeks and months to address all past problems and meet all the Independent School Standards.
With the right strategy we are confident the School’s appeal will succeed. More details on this strategy, and all statements from the School, can be found here: Latest updates and information from the school.
